Optional website analytics

If you choose “Allow”, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and engagement. We also measure clicks to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music, email-link clicks, and starts and finishes of the Victimhood trailer. A podcast-link click does not tell us whether you listened on that platform.

Google Analytics uses cookies and online identifiers to distinguish visits. Our analytics cookies are configured to expire after six months and may be renewed on later visits. Data is processed by Google and may be processed outside Australia. We disable Google signals and advertising personalisation in our website tag. Our custom interaction events do not include your name, email address, or message contents.

Your choice

Analytics is off until you accept. “No thanks” keeps it off and the website still works. We store your choice in this browser for up to six months. You can change it using “Analytics settings” in the Menu. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already sent to Google.

Hosting, email and other websites

The website’s hosting service processes connection information needed to deliver and secure the site, independently of optional analytics. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Links to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and other websites are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.
